TOTO CHINA was established in 1917 and soon became one of the world’s largest plumbing products manufacturers, and market leaders in China.
In 2009, after consultation with Great Works China, it was time to redefine how TOTO represented themselves online to best serve their customers. The website re-design focused on developing a new creative design, enhanced user experience and content navigation. The TOTO CHINA official site was launched in mid 2010.
A new online brand image
The task of re-defining the brand style was to better represent the premium positioning of the TOTO brand in China. The launch of the new website saw a fundamental shift in the overarching brand image moving from an outdated heavy blue imagery to a more streamlined black and white style.
Website content re-structuring and management
The TOTO China website has an enormous amount of content as well as many types of product offerings to navigate. GREAT WORKS helped TOTO re-organise the site structure and implemented a new Content Management System to manage all of the content.
Our goal was to deliver a great user experience. With the changes the project brought about, we have greatly reduced the website loading time, increased key user metrics and traffic as well as search rankings.
